Poems ~ Clear Poetry

Today the lovely editor Ben Banyard of  Clear Poetry and as it happens, fellow North Somerset Poet! Has published three of my poems, for which I send out big thanks. I always find it strange reading my own poetry, I find bits I want to change or delete, sometimes add to! The French Poet Paul Valery (another fellow Scorpio, something I touched on in an earlier blog) said  ‘A poem is never finished, only abandoned’ and I agree, it’s knowing when to stop and to accept it how it is. Draw a line under it, move on and enjoy it when you return.
